Welcome

Radar Training, launched in 2006, has successfully established itself as a key player in the professional development market with a view to becoming the leading training company in Tanzania.

We offer a range of dynamic professional development and English language for business training programmes to organisations.  Radar courses are devised and delivered by highly experienced facilitators and supported by internationally-renowned Pearson Education books.

We can provide organisational development solutions such as employee surveys, coaching & mentoring, training needs analysis and targeted group development work.

Radar Training Approach

Radar courses are a development exercise not a training event.

Participants complete pre work and post work to start their learning before attending training and they complete development tasks afterwards to practice their skills.

Radar Training works in partnership with Human Resource and Training departments to support organisational staff development training.  We take a holistic approach to training believing that training without ‘buy-in’ from employees and management will not create the desired impact and change we expect from our professional training courses.

Consultancy and pre-training needs analysis shapes the structure and content of Radar training courses, creating unique courses for our clients, suited to purpose.

We occasionally run public courses, so please email us if you are interested in one of our courses and we will give you more details.

Radar Training Methodology

Knowing that learning is more effective when participants are using all their senses, Radar Training courses are fun and interactive.

Our courses use diverse methods of teaching including
•    role play
•    group work
•    video playback
•    discussion
•    whole class presentations

Our Radar trophy for Best Participant

We also issue workbooks with our courses for notetaking and future reference.  Courses are supported by award-winning Pearson-Longman professional development and English language learning publications.

All participants are awarded a Radar Training certificate of attendance, and Radar distribute prizes for performance from a number of professional development titles.  A Radar Training trophy is given to Best Participant based on participant votes.

Radar Trainers

All trainers working with Radar are accomplished facilitators with tertiary qualifications and vast experience in management in Tanzania and other parts of the world.  Associate trainers of Radar are business managers, freelance consultants and facilitators.   They come from varying professional backgrounds yet all have key training experience both here in Tanzania and further afield.

In addition to creating and running Radar Courses, Radar Trainers are available as consultants and researchers and advise on organisational development solutions, taking on projects such as employee surveys.  They are also available to facilitate workshops and conferences.

Professional Development and English Language Books

Many companies are recognising the importance of staff resource libraries as a crucial tool for sustained staff development.   Well-managed resource libraries allow and encourage staff to access new ideas and information on wider aspects of their job roles and sector.  Such skills as report writing, presenting, communication, industry knowledge, project management, customer service, selling, time management, common mistakes in English, can be referred to in a range of Pearson-Longman professional development publications.  Radar Training complements its courses with these inspiring reader-friendly books to motivate our participants to continue learning and researching ideas once a training course is over.

You can download a comprehensive list of Professional Development titles here.  For more information and advice please contact Radar Education – the official partner and distributor for Pearson-Longman books throughout Tanzania.
